Cultural values are several different things which significantly influence and co-create the identity of particular areas and demonstrate the creativity and adaptation of a human kind to natural conditions. It can be priceless old knowledge related to plant production, hunting, forestry, food preparation ... to forgotten but important old buildings, technical knowledge, craft products, etc… A bunch of cultural values with development potential discovered in the SY_CULTour pilot areas are presented bellow.

“Archangel Michael” Bulgarian Orthodox Church
On Crete there survive more than 800 wall painted Byzantine churches; they are an invaluable religious, cultural and artistic treasure.
The Church of St. John the Forerunner was built in distinctive Vojvodina baroque style in 1790 in the foundation of a former church.
Serbian Orthodox Church of St George the Martyr was built in 1761 in Baroque style. Even in Turkish times, Serbs had on the same place a small St George's Church.
Serbian Orthodox Church of the Entrance of the Holy Lady into Jerusalem, which was built in Baroque style, is famous for iconostasis that was painted by Serbian painter Jakov Orfelin.
