This heritage contributes to the quality of life of the inhabitants, to the quality of the landscapes and to the attractiveness of areas both to those who live there and to those who visit them.

The resolution only mentions Ministers responsible for Spatial/Regional planning in CE member countries (CEMAT) and their role in rural heritage preservation and enchantment. No other stakeholders are mentioned.

Strengths

Special emphasis on the potential of rural cultural heritage in territorial, economic development and at preserving and evolving rural heritage. Heritage is seen not only to be protected but to be evolved further and to bring economic success.

Weaknesses

Weak definitions on stakeholders, responsibilities and further actions to implement and respect the resolution.
