On a nice spring Saturday (26. 5. 2012) we decided to visit organic farm Gmajnar near Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia.
WORKSHOP: Picking and preparation of eatable wild plants

Almost each Saturday in spring ladies from the farm organise Workshop on picking and preparation of eatable wild plants. Workshop is held on the farm, in the meadow and in the woods. We learned about more than 60 nutritious plants that are growing near our homes. These plants were widely used by our ancestors but today we forgot how important source of vitamins, minerals and proteins they could be.
