SY_CULTour project partners gathered in Jesenice, Slovenia for the final conference
A total of 29 participants attended the events. Representatives of all ERDF, IPA and 10 % project partners were present. At the project meeting the participants ran through the outputs achieved in the project and agreed on the preparation of the remaining ones. The focus was given to dissemination and pilot area outputs.
The final conference was organised for project partners in order to discuss further dissemination channels for the policy recommendations that were prepared in the project and in order to discuss further development of the Virtual Chamber as the main long-term result of the project. Participants discussed also the possible upgrade of the common methodology in a follow-up project. Most of them were in favour of drafting a project focused on further dissemination of the common methodology and the Virtual Chamber in other rural areas which would include also good practice transfers.
The study visit focused on Jesenice cultural values – participants were able to see the cultural-touristic offer of the Upper Sava Valley Museum which will be integrated in new touristic packages that were developed in SY_CULTour. They were also informed about the rich cultural history of Jesenice through a guided tour and managed to see the “modern cultural value” which will also be integrated in new touristic packages – the Acroni Company as one of the leading steel producers in the world.
A press conference with local media was also organised where David Bole, SY_CULTour project manager and Vera Djurić Drozdek, Jesenice Municipality project coordinator presented the project results with specific emphasis on the results achieved in Jesenice pilot area.
